The Persian community, with the help of local restaurateur and chef Fred Soofi, Fereshteh Zakery and Sara Tabrizi, created a beautiful presentation to showcase the rich heritage of the Afghan and Iranian communities through fashion.

The traditional coats or coats worn by Iranian women are usually made of various fabrics and decorated with heavy brocade and embroidery. These coats are usually not fastened. Long dresses and loincloths were worn by both men and women in Persia.
After the revolution, Iranian women wore irregular clothes with headscarves. Today, scarves and veils have become an important part of traditional dress in Iran. The clothing of the nomadic Bakhtiari tribe is diverse considering the harsh weather conditions they may encounter during migration. Men wear overcoats, wide trousers tied at the ankles, and woolen skullcaps. Colorful skirts, knitted coats and matching vests are very common among women. Their durable fabrics are embellished with hand-stitched designs or embellishments.
